Your channels should shape the shortlist
Replacing a website bubble is a smaller project than moving support across several messaging platforms. List every channel you actively use and its operational requirements: ownership, message history, templates, response timing, and how a teammate joins the conversation.
Researched October 30, 2026 using the official product pages and documentation linked below. This guide is written by the Helpnest team, not an independent ranking. We have not benchmarked these products head-to-head. Features and billing can change; confirm your requirements with each vendor before purchasing.
What to verify before leaving Chatling
Chatling’s product site lists website and messaging channels with human handoff. Its pricing page lists model-dependent AI credits alongside agent, seat, knowledge, and workflow allowances. Check your current plan’s actual usage before comparing another tool’s headline price.
Also record how your knowledge sources are refreshed. Replacing a scheduled refresh with a manual process changes the work your team must do, even if the chatbot looks similar.
Three alternatives to put through a trial
1. Helpnest — for website and Telegram support.
Helpnest combines website and document knowledge with a website widget, Telegram, and a shared inbox for human handoff. You can choose models through Google Vertex AI, Anthropic, and Parasail. Read the product docs and current plans for the implemented workflow and allowances.
Helpnest is in active development with waitlist access. Consider it for a focused web-and-Telegram workflow; confirm access before planning a launch. It should not be treated as a replacement for integrations or channels that are not listed in its documentation.
2. Chatwith — for connected website-agent workflows.
Chatwith: Website agents with tool integrations and actions. Its billing documentation describes a shared message allowance and model-dependent usage. Review the official details and test your required features on the relevant plan.
3. Botsonic — for evaluating another chatbot-and-actions setup.
Botsonic: A website chatbot builder whose pricing tiers list messages, chatbots, team members, uploaded characters, and agentic actions. Review the official details and test your required features on the relevant plan.
Model the cost of your actual conversation mix
Separate visitor messages, AI replies, and replies from your team. Then account for the model used by each agent. A fixed number of credits does not tell you how many complete conversations a plan can handle.
Use three scenarios: ordinary traffic, a busy week, and a month where you move more replies to a premium model. Include seats, knowledge capacity, actions, and channel add-ons where applicable. Ask what happens at the limit: pausing, upgrading, and overage billing are different outcomes.
Test a channel end to end
For each must-have channel, send a real test message, trigger a handoff, reply from the team inbox, and close the conversation. Confirm where customer identity and context appear. A checkmark on an integrations page cannot establish that the workflow suits your team.
If web and Telegram cover your needs, read Helpnest’s Telegram setup guide and inbox documentation. If you require other channels, verify support before selecting Helpnest.
