Connect your AI agent to Telegram

Let customers chat with your Helpnest AI agent in Telegram. Create a bot with BotFather and connect it in under a minute.

Connect a bot

  1. Open @BotFather in Telegram and send /newbot.
  2. Choose a name and a username for your bot.
  3. Copy the token BotFather gives you.
  4. In Helpnest, open the agent's Integration tab, choose Connect Telegram Bot, and paste the token.

How it works

The Telegram bot uses the same knowledge, settings, and credits as your website agent. Telegram conversations appear in the agent's inbox, labelled as Telegram, and you can disconnect the bot at any time from the same tab.
