Suggested questions
Show up to four one-tap suggested questions in your Helpnest chat widget, written by you or generated by AI from your trained content.
Suggested questions are one-tap buttons shown under the welcome message. They help visitors start a conversation and show what your agent can answer.
Add questions yourself
On the agent's Test tab or in Settings, type a question and press Add. You can add up to 4 questions of up to 120 characters each. Changes save immediately.
Generate with AI
Click Generate with AI and Helpnest writes four questions that your trained content can answer, in the language of your content. Generating replaces your current list, and you can edit or remove any of them afterwards.
Where they appear
Suggestions show in the website widget, inline embeds, the shareable link, and the test chat, until the visitor sends their first message. Starting a new conversation shows them again.
